Fruit Spread is a not for profit movement in the Williamsburg Va.area. We look for fruit/nut trees/ or gardens that have become a burden to homeowners. Our team of volunteers swoop in to the rescue...we pick and share: 1/3 of the bounty is offered back to the owner, 1/3 is offered to the volunteer team, and 1/3 is brought to local giving agencies such as shelters or food banks.
Our idea is to save the trees and gardens that are already intact and spread the bounty to locals that can need and want it.
